Walking in the Light

"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path." Psalm 119: 105

Think about the imagery described in that verse. We are not given a 300 watt beam to reveal the entire landscape. There is no headlight on our hats that points toward the horizon. Instead, the LORD provides only a handheld lamp that illuminates the trail on which we are walking. In other words, He shows us where to place the next step, and that is all. We have to trust Him to lead us through the darkness that lies beyond our vision.

The light you're carrying only shows what you need to know today. That is enough. Just continue to "walk in the light" you have been given, and leave the future in God's hands.

~ Dr. James Dobson

I love that, Jen. He is enough and we needn't worry about tomorrow. Or about anything for that matter. May we fully trust in Him, our light, and walk faithfully on the path he has set us upon. Thanks for the reminder.
Love you! xoxo

Jeny, I love your blog. It is such a peaceful blessing and such an encouragement to my soul. I have bookmarked it and will visit it often. Thanks for sharing from your heart! Hopefully we'll all be better and see each other at church soon! Love, Monica

Jeny,

I've been praying for you and your family today. I pray that God is giving your body healing and rest and that today was a day full of his wonderful blessings for you. Did you get my email I sent you a few days ago? I've had a few things bounce back.

I love and miss you!
