Snow Fun

Riley is a snow dog. She loves the snow, diving nose first into every drift. Cooper enjoys it too, but he gets cold sooner. He likes to chase the flying snow.

Aunt Jayme and Uncle Scott were playing with the neices and nephews in the snow and Bronwen kept saying "This is fun!" So they asked her,"What else is snow?"
"Is it wet?"
"yep"
"Is it cold?"
"yep"
"Is it white?"
"yep"
"Is it deep?"
"yep"
"Is it pink?"
"yep"
Well, by this time it seemed as though she wasn't really paying attention so they asked "Is the snow hard?"
"yep"
"The snow's not hard, it's soft!" Aunt Jayme laughed and kicked it.
there was a pause and then Bronwen muttered, "It's hard to walk in."

It's really hard to believe that the temperatures are supposed to warm to the fifties and rain this weekend. My children are really sad that all of the snow will probably be gone so soon. We've been making the most of it though! Such is life in the midwest. We'll get more I'm sure.
I wonder what Mason was thinking of doing with that snow ball? Well, he did not throw it at anyone. He tried to start a snowman, but the snow was too powdery and wouldn't pack. Hmmm, sounds like it is perfect for something else though. SKIING!

Hi, sweet sister! I might be able to see you today - maybe. Well, I know the girls will get to see you. I'll give them a big hug to give to you. Don't let them keep it to themselves. ;) Love you! xo

Bronwen is so cute! Her retort to Jayme cracked me up! I'm glad you got a chance to enjoy the snow...while it lasted. Can you believe how green the grass is today? I have to admit, here in the land of woodburning stoves, winding miles of road to the nearest grocery, and long driveways needing cleared before church...I'm not to disappointed to see it all melt!

That looks like so much fun. We've only had a few flurries so far, and it was 67 degrees yesterday. I hope we'll get some real snow this year at least for a few hours so we can play in it with Ella. Thank you so much for your response to my blog. I feel like I probably tell too much sometimes, but it helps to blog about things that are on my mind and to get tidbits of feedback. I'm finally getting some engergy back & am able to get a little more done. And I'm able to eat. Yay! I weigh 1 lb less than I did when I found out I was pregnant, but my belly is getting round. I'm eating as much as I can. And I'm taking my vitamins although they make me want to . . . Haha. So I go back to the Dr Tuesday. Hoping everything is fine.
