Baby it's cold outside

All week the temperatures in South Bend have been struggling to get up to zero. Upon waking this morning, the temperature was 18 below zero with a windchill of -40!

Our 106 year old home struggled to hold in the warmth for us, and with the gas fire place running, the windows developed a thick crust of ice. On the inside.

We are bundled in several layers and going nowhere near the outside.

Can't find my camera chord, so can't download any pictures. But you know what ice looks like. Lots and lots. and lots of ice.
