A Song of the Ascents

I lift up mine eyes unto the hills,
Whence doth my help come?
My help is from Jehovah, maker of the heaven and earth,
He suffereth not thy foot to be moved,
Thy preserver slumbereth not.
Lo, He slumbereth not, nor sleepeth,
He who is preserving Israel.
Jehovah is thy preserver,
Jehovah is thy shade on thy right hand,
By day the sun doth not smite thee, Nor the moon by night.
Jehovah preserveth thee from all evil,
He doth preserve thy soul.
Jehovah preserveth thy going out and thy coming in, From henceforth even unto the end of the age!
Psalm 121:1

The Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.
Isaiah 58:11

About Me

My photo
jeny
I am married to a wonderful, Godly husband and father and together we have four wonderful children. Noah is 13, Bronwen is 10, Annabelle is 8 and Oliver just turned 6. I am blessed to be able to stay home with my children and school them. Follow our learning at Little Gray Schoolhouse. I love literature and art. I play and teach the piano, but never get enough time to practice. And sometimes I get to be creative. I dabble a little in watercolor and tried oil once, but prefer acrylic. But I mostly sketch, probably because I most often have a pencil within easy reach. You can see some of my work if you click on "my gallery" up above. I'm desperate for Jesus and cannot do anything without His strength.
