            It was a very chilly day in October, so we started out in the house with this formal shot.
                            Of course, with a little person like Oliver, it's never very formal.

Our friend is studying photography and came by last month for a special session.
We used the barn as a backdrop. Here's a sneak peak, me and my flowers.

Going through old boxes today I found my old Etch-A-Sketch, and it still had the last picture on it!

How in the world did it not get sufficiently jostled to rub out the image?

I can almost remember painstakingly etching the sketch.

Perseverance.

His Eye is on the Sparrow

My baby sister had her first baby.

And the way God had it all planned out, she was born in town and I got to be with her.

Jayme was powerful and awesome, she made quick work of it and welcomed her precious Harriett Sparrow into the world.

Welcome beautiful baby.

Rest in Me

Rest in Me, My child.

Give your mind a break from planning and trying to anticipate what will happen.

Pray continually, asking My Spirit to take charge of the details of this day. Remember that you are on a journey with Me. When you try to paper into the future and plan for every possibility, you ignore your constant Companion who sustains you moment by moment. 

As you gaze anxiously into the distance, you don't even feel the strong grip of My hand holding yours.

How foolish you are, My child!

Remembrance of Me is a daily discipline.

Never loose sight of My Presence with you. 

This will keep you resting in Me all day, every day.
