My Fall comfort food
Acorn squash baked with butter and salt and served with a side of zucchini browned in olive oil.
Mmmmmm. Takes me back to my college days and crisp afternoons with Jody, grabbing a bite after or between classes. I can't eat this without thinking of you dearest!
I was just thinking of you and our autumn days together as young women in our college days. I'm so glad God placed you in my path. You're so precious to me!
I haven't had any acorn squash yet this fall. Maybe next trip to the grocery store...

Acorn squash is my favorite too! I've never tried it with zucchini, but that looks yummy as well. Thanks for the idea. :)
