Eighty Five years of blessing

You feel the fortune of your years,
I hope. For all your children's love
This day must bring you happy tears
And thoughts that joyful music prove.

I hope, for all your children's love,
There is an island, be it small,
And thoughts that joyful music prove
Beyond what years you may recall.

There is an island, be it small,
Amid the passions of the sea,
Beyond what years you may recall,
Where you in silent grace can be.

Amid the passions of the sea,
This day must bring you happy tears.
Where you in silent grace can be,
You feel the fortune of your years.
Happy Birthday Grandma!

Your grandmother is one beautiful woman, and your tribute to her just as lovely! May God bless you with many more years together.

Love you,
Jody

Wow, that's beautiful, did you compose it?

I love that poem, Jeny. I would love to know the author, as well.
It was so good to see you tonight. I just wonder....maybe we could steal some time away for ourselves soon?

Please wish your Granma a belated one from me...she looked wonderful when I saw her last week!

Hey how'd your party turn out and what did you think of the new spring catalog?

My mind is swimming in the beauty of those liquid words, Jen. Who wrote them? I read them over and over marveling at the flow of repetition. It is achingly lovely.
I will make sure to let Grandma see this, Jayme's and Christine's blog.
