Our beautiful beloved song has already been playing for a month now. It has been so wonderful getting to know this precious little one. She is such a sweet addition to our family.

Birthday Girl

Today Bronwen is two!

Bronwen's Birthday

She was being such a ham! I have so many pictures of her standing there with her balloons, grinning from ear to ear. If I click through them quickly, she moves and reminds me of a little charlie chapman waddling around!

Bronwen turned two today . . .it's so hard to believe how fast the hands of time are turning. Mom and Dad always said that time goes by more quickly the older you get.

She's felt a little insecure and stressed since Annabelle's arrival (that's alot to handle when you're only two!) So we tried to make her feel extra special today. We had dinner at our favorite family restaurant, Applebees and the wait staff doted on her, which is hard not to do after one look at those big brown eyes. She came home with a bunch of balloons and was feeling pretty silly. We got a bunch of great shots, as you can see above. I had a hard time picking a favorite.
Noah had insisted on buying Bronwen a stuffed dog just like his because she loves his so much. He delighted in wrapping it for her and then watching her glee as she unwrapped it and realized what it was. Noah you are such a sweet boy! Bronwen felt very special and very loved as she fell asleep tonight.

Makin

Bronwen loves to work with me in our kitchen. "I'm makin" is what she'll proudly say as she brings me something she has put together.

Due date

This weekend was Annabelle's estimated due date. I'm really glad she came early because this is what the weather is like today! Two weeks ago, the weather was unseasonably warm and sunny, perfect for her arrival.

Of course these two are excited to have another chance with the snow.

Noah holds Annabelle every chance he gets. I love how he loves her and dotes on her.

Bronwen watches from a distance and can occasionally be seen getting a closer look and touch. She's still trying to figure this "big sis" thing out.

He is Risen!

Jesus Is Risen!

"Now after the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to look at the grave."He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying." Matt 28:1,6

Instead of blue skies and rapturous sunshine bursting through the clouds, this was our view this Easter morn, and it is very cold outside. But inside was very warm as we celebrated this most precious day with our family.

Christine caught this one on her picture and sent it to me. I wonder what she was saying.

Just two weeks old, Annabelle is very alert when she is awake. She did sleep through most of the day.

Christine sat with Madelyn, Chloe, Noah and Bronwen as they discussed what Easter means to us as Christians.

I think this is our first official family picture. (The last one we were all in our pajamas the morning after Annabelle's birth.) We're a little more presentable here.

Scott looks so relaxed for all of the school work I know he must have to finish up before graduation in June!

What a beautiful, blessed day. Thank You, Jesus Wonderful Saviour!

Baby parts

(Annabelle is one part Elf and one part Human. You can tell, because this is her elfin ear. The other one is rounded and therefore, human.)

These were taken last week on the 29th I think. She's only a few days old and I couldn't resist taking a visual record of her brand new baby parts.
